im thinking free ranger is a good choice

You should either get Star Strike, Roller Brawl or Smolderdash for the Core. They are really powerful Skyladies.
For a Swapper you should take Free Ranger. He is really fun.

Though I haven't been able to play the game yet, by looking at the gameplay, I'd say Roller Brawl and Magna Charge/Rattle Shake.

I'm not a huge fan of him. Paths are lackluster, I bet he's fairly bad in pvp...Just guessing compared to the other 'Landers. I say Star Strike. She's truly unique and fun.

Roller Brawl's charge is one of the best moves ever. Huge damage and a stun/knockback so you can keep doing it. She's also extremely fast, and her other moves are not bad either.

This is true. For anyone who doesn't know the trick:

Sky diamond gives you tons of money when you hit something. You put the diamodn on the portal while you're in the training dummy area and just attack the dummies. You get 2x as much money per Skylander if you're playing with a second player hitting another dummy, so you can skill up two at once in half the time. Most Skylanders only need 2-3 sessions of this to be maxed.

Also: Pop Thorn is a really good character.

which roller brawl path is better? I think both do charge attacks don't they?

I picked the bottom path for the 6% extra crit chance and the spinning blades which actually stay spinning around her like a shield and work while you're charging stuff.

so i should get free ranger and tower of time

For wave 2 I think Night Shift is one of the all-time best Skylanders we've seen. Not only can he regenerate his health through his third skill, but his bottom half grants bonus speed, teleporting, and 3 lives! Yes, you can die 3 times with his bottom before you're actually dead, if you pick that path, which you should!

Tower of Time is a good idea, if you can only get two, regardless of price.
For a Swapper, Rattle Shake, Free Ranger, or Hoot Loop are a good idea.
For cores:
Smolderdash looks awesome, with Eclipse powers. Could wait until later to get her much awesomer looking normal pose.
Zoo Lou looks ok
Grim Creeper looks really fun, with fast paced scythe strikes and the ability to chain attacks from enemy to enemy. And he lookss pretty cool.

I would say Tower of Time and Magna Charge.

From what I can see' is OP

I find myself gravitating towards Rattle Shake and Grim Creeper for Swap Force. Both Undead, oddly enough. I like Magna Charge but his gun has a cool down period, unlike, say Bouncer from Giants.

Smolderdash is good at pvp, and magna charge is really fun picking up basically anything with his magnets.
