The OTHER reason why you need a brand new Portal.. (SPOILERS) [CLOSED]

There's actually another reason why you need to have another Portal;
In Motherly Mayhem, Kaos' Mom actually hides in her dark Portal. Your Portal will start to flash Purple, so..

You need to take all figures off of the Portal, and she will appear on the "Place a Skylander on the Portal" screen, confused by how you found her.

It's actually quite funny. smilie

He was confirmed already out.
Wave 2 smilie and I was just saying I am likely going to storm through every level the second I take him home

It was an interesting idea... But I don't think it's got anything to do with the new portal.

This game kinda tosses out the fourth wall given that both she and Eon will address you directly. Even Kaos does from time to time.

Breaking the fourth wall is when something breaks fiction by acknowledging the player or reader, usually when the rest of the characters around them are unaware. Like Deadpool bringing up comic book history directly as a wink-wink to the reader, when Spider-Man has no idea why he's being compared to Tobey Maguire.

In this case, Kaos' Mom is doing it when she retreats into the portal and you 'follow' her by having no skylander on your portal.

Traditionally, it's from theatre, where the invisible "wall" between the stage and the audience is the 4th wall of the stage. Puck breaks the 4th wall in Midsummer Night's Dream smilie

Something that I liked in SSA that was less of a thing in SG, is that you are the hero of the game, sending your allies into help and the forth wall was never really there to be broken. It drew you into the fiction a little, and if I was a kid I'd totally be into the idea that *I* am the hero of the story.

I find breaking the foruth wall to be really fun if done correctly.
At the beginning of Kaos' boss fight, Kaos himself pulls the words out from the side of the screen.

Not really breaking the 4th wall, but he then growls at you so that is
