When I play my Skylanders from Spyro/Giants on Swap Force their nicknames don't show up (on the Wii). Is anybody else having this issue?

Have you played them on any other system?

Check to see if you have visiting nicknames on, or you can try going into the skylander info, manage, and make sure it is claimed as your skylander. When I brought some of my series 2 skylanders into SSA to complete the list of all skylanders it didn't say I had them, after I claimed them in SSA it worked.

I don't see any option on the Wii verson to accept visiting nicknames nor do I see where to claim ownership... @Warhammer, I'm playing it on the same system I played Giants and SSA, they haven't been on any other system.

I'm not familiar with the Wii version but, in the section (press select on 360) give you a menu where you add hats, see stats and take ownership...etc.
Can you pull up that menu? Sorry, I couldn't be more help. Let us know and we'll try and get it working.

Yeah, the previous versions had that option, not so much with this one... Likewise on the Wii version of Giants/SSA under 'options' there was an option to view visiting character nicknames, it not there in SF.

I think it's because these characters were played on the older version, thus you need to take ownership of them.
How to do that, is the question. Have looked in the menu where you put hats on your skylanders? What other options are on that menu?
Or, can you not put hats on them either? Sorry, I'm really trying to help, I just don't know much about the Wii version.
