RIP GhostRoaster. He's reanimated as TakeYourLemons but occasionally is resurrected from the beyond when needed. |

It costs 15 dollars to join though and I think for every six you buy you get one core character for free...
Meaning buying 12 skylanders will save you 5 dollars of the 2nd core figure, and you also become game stops slave when buying skylanders. they said you will get exclusive coupons though and if there awesome coupons then it might be worth it...

There are other advantages to the Adventure Club. Yes, you do have to pay $14.99 for Pro level, but you do get a bonus on trade-ins that will stack with other trade in offers (their trade in values aren't great, but sometimes they have a deal that makes it nice), you get a deal on used games, you also get a subscription to Game Informer which is a fairly decent magazine. It used to be online version only, but the guy signed me up for mailed copy (I guess that is an option now).
I'm not a huge fan of Gamestop, and if this Club were just for the ability to get 1 free for every six, it probably isn't worth it. But Pro itself is arguably not bad, if you will use it. They are simply throwing in the 1 for 6 bonus and a special card - which isn't bad given that there will likely be a few times in the next year they will get things in first, and you can end up getting a free figure or two from buying what you were going to be buying anyways. |

It seems useless to me. Not the general GS Club - but the Skylander add-on. As it stands - GS is already several bucks higher than most places for buying figures, and any special variants and the such almost never hit the floor anyways due to employees. So, I can save the money buying figures from elsewhere, and just buy the figure from elsewhere without having to worry about coupons and the such.
