Isn't it usually a bad sign that we don't have any reviews for the game yet considering it is less than 24 hours until launch? I know the press have embargoes in place up to a certain point in time but generally it is a bad sign when they can't post reviews at this point.

Nope...It's called a media/press embargo. They can't spill until release. It just means they can't release their review until release. The franchise is established ans will sell like hot cakes either way.

Yes, it generally is a bad sign, however in this case I'm pretty sure that what they are hiding is the difference in quality between the versions they've shown and the wii and 3ds versions, so unless you're planning to get it for one of those I think you'll be fine.

I planned on getting the 3DS version simply because of the figures the offer. There has been literally no in game action shown in either the 3DS or Wii games correct? I guess I am just curious if it was like this last year? Companies hold off on review copies and keep embargoes close to launch generally if they are hiding something. Remember the last Aliens game from Sega? I am not trying to raise any flags but a couple of days for a review in advance would have been cool.

I think it's obvious that the DS game is gonna suck, that's why they throw the exclusive variant in there to help sell it . As for the Wii Edition it will probably be the same but with cheaper graphics.

There actually have been like three up to for second shots of the 3ds version, another sign that they probably aren't proud of it's quality, but they have said that the wii version will be missing "non essential" game play elements, does that mean things like rail grinding, or does that mean some of the swap force zones? If you're planning to get either of those versions I would recommend waiting for a review

Sounds like its a good thing I am getting the PS3 version as well as the 3DS. I know I will probably catch a lot of flak but it is about time Activision stopped building these games around a weaker system (like the Wii). I have a feeling once this game gets released that it is going to be pretty hard going back to the previous games considering how dated they are going to look.

The reason Activision keeps making Skylanders games for the Wii is because of its strong sales.

Eek. That went in deeeeeep.

I bought a Wii U at launch. Played it for about a month and decided it was the most undesirable piece of hardware I had ever owned. The 3DS dual screen experience works because it is one screen on top of the other. The Wii U makes you move your eyes and head in a way that simply isn't natural. Not to mention the fact that so many games got delayed and the ones that did come out were not anything spectacular. I jumped at the chance to sell the system without having to take too much of a loss.

I love my Wii-U,I'm confident it will be the best looking version until the PS4 hits stores.I cant wait to see Tree Rex in SF!

So everyone finished the game yet :-)

I'm ok with a review after at least getting the Woodburrows hub up and running.
