Not sure if any of you have finally gotten a confirmation on using the frito lay coupons for the gamestop exclusive dark edition but i did today on accident. I orignially went in for my swap force strategy guide to find out like everyone else they changed the date to the 9th. So while i was there i asked them if they ever figured out if they will take the frito lay coupons for the dark edition and the employee got on the computer. At first she pulled up a $5.00 coupon for skylanders giants and i said no this is $10.00 and says swap force on it. After digging some more she found a store wide email saying they will accept the coupons. She also said there is actually a place for her to scan it in, or make thier system take it. I know gamestop isnt the best with being on the same page with stuff so you may have to twist some arms to make them dig into their system to find it.

Not sure how you are able to get the game today. Hopefully my Gamestop will wise up on the coupon.

I don't think Madara got the Dark Starter today, she got the Strategy Guide.

Rob, I'd love to see you call them before hand. My local Gamestop claimed complete ignorance. I'm sure you have a better relationship with your guys though....they rarely see me as I do most of my shopping online.

Sorry let me clarify,
I went in for my preordered strategy guide, i hadnt read the forums in a while or i would have realized the date got changed to

tommorrow. So while i was there i asked the employee if they ever decided or figured out if they were going to accept the coupons

(frito lay) for the Dark starter edition. So she got on the computer and dug around, first she found the $5.00 coupon for the Giants

starter pack. I said no, this actually says Swap force, and its $10.00. So she dug some more, checked the store emails, and said

yes. She found a store wide email saying that they would accept them, and from what she told me they added a spot to their

system that recognizes the coupon. I even asked her again to reverify that and she said yes. So from what she told me, they will

accept the coupons. But depending on your stores and employees you may have to make them check their emails, or even beat

them in the head with something to get them to find it. I also saw last night that somone else posted on this same thing under

the "Toys and merchandise section" I was searching under Sklanders Swap force or i wouldnt have reposted on it. So that makes

two people they said yes to coupons on, at least.

I wonder how Gamestop is going to do this better if they are going to hire 17,000 people for the holiday season.

My local GameStop is accepting the coupons too. Manager said they got an e-mail saying they are accepting it!
