I'm going guess that Rubble Rouser, Freeze Blade, and Stink Bomb will be that wave's swappers. This is speculation, not a fact...yet!
Edit: It actually confirms it in the link. Really disappointed that they are still holding Freeze Blade. And I hate Spy Rise.

He says Spy Rise is also possible.

SOOOO..... does this mean that I have to skip Lc if I want to get the Crossbow and S3 Camo?? Whyyyyy? Why not ? She got a crossbow as a weapon.

The wave 3 contents are not carved in stone. This is just what's on amazon france. The 2 triple packs indicate that this is not a random list of characters.

I now understand their new marketing strategy...implement new guys as lightcores in earlier waves, so we fork over the dough, and then make us eat it again in an adventure pack in a later wave.

I like old camo though T~T I can live with 2 grim creepers though... I'll just get legendary lightcore and normal grim creeper

Cmon...don't you want Series 1 Grim Creeper, Series 1 Lightcore Grim Creeper, and Series 1 Legendary Lightcore Grim Creeper...plus I'm sure there will be a treasure hunt variant out there!

Could be worse, in my opinion.

When you look at toys made by NECA or Transformers, those things run 15.99-17.99 and all they do is look fancy or transform from a robot to a vehicle. They redo those same toys as variants as well, or redeco's with different head sculpts (Transformers), but charge the same price.

Those don't work on a total of 9 different games, unlock Heroics, level to 10, 15, 20, or upgrade down two to four different upgrade paths.

That's the way I see all of this. I see so many people waste their money on plastic toys that do nothing.

What of this toy is worth 65 dollars when it doesn't even move?

Best part of Skylanders, no one HAS to buy them, just like a lot of us don't have to buy overpriced toys. If we're using Grim as an analogy, one only needs one of him, if they even want it. Want one? Pick your favorite version of him and that's that.

Well this I officially declare is the best wave ever! I mean and are great, but and ?! Those two are my main highlights in Swap Force and to see that my biggest favorites are not in the last wave is the best news ever! Thank you myskylanders, you're news has seriously cheered me up today as I had the worst day ever until I read this. You're the best dude!

Well in the eye of this beholder, my skylanders don't clean my house or wash my car...they just sit there. How can I get my skylander to DO anything?

Seriously though, it's just worthless hardware without software. And about pricing...we've come a long way from 7.99, and I don't like the trend. We've basically doubled the price of some figures since our debut. Yes, they do a little more, but not double.

Looks like I consumed the cloud of pure darkness, I know.

For me, Skylanders 1 & 2 did not justify the figures I bought, it was more a collectors thing. Played enough Swap Force to say that it could be the first game where I really use them.

Well, to be fair, other video game based action figures cost 5-7 dollars more, and they don't have the option of playing in a game. I am also glad to see that TRU is the only one who keeps jacking up the prices. That will bite in the butt later on, as people will then only buy their exclusives from them, but go to Walmart, Target, etc, to get the figures for 9.99, 11.99, 14.99, and 24.99.

You're right. They're worthless without hardware. However, look at it like this. Let's say there never were any characters for Skylanders. You either bought all characters in game, unlocked them... or worse, pay for them via DLC. Now, let's say that a toy company like Hasbro, Jakks, Mattell or worse....... NECA, wanted to make action figures of the Skylanders. Fans of Skylanders could then buy their favorite figures to display in their room, or show support of the brand. Cost of each figure would range from 9.99 (depending on who brought them out) to 17.99. They would still do the same thing without the hardware, which is look pretty.

My youngest daughter plays with her Skylanders outside of the game. She plays with them as if they were toys. We could have only gotten these things as toys, had some other toy maker made them, based on how popular Skylanders is.

I just think things could have been worse. Activision loves their DLC. This could be Killer Instinct, where you download the game for free and you get 1 character (Jago), while you have to buy the rest. I am thankful, that for 10-15 bucks, you get physical toys that are basically unlimited use DLC (in that you can take ownership of them on ANY console ANY number of times you want).

Imagine how much people would spend, if Nintendo were to come out and say they're releasing a toy for EVERY Pokemon. People would still buy them, but what could they do that Skylanders don't? Skylanders can be bought for the sole purpoe of displaying them in a video game themed room, they can be played with as action figures, or even played with in 9 video games... so far.

I might be the only one that finds it funny that Thorn Horn Camo is in a Battle Pack for the moment.
