Does anyone know if there will be a Wii U Dark Edition, all the others are available for pre-order on the Gamestop website except the Wii U...

Weird....have you tried going into an actual location? I know when it first went up the stores were doing pre-orders

There absolutely is a WiiU edition, it must be sold out - that's the one I pre-ordered (in store, the receipt specifically says WiiU).

I also pre-ordered the Wii U edition in-store.

Dark edition for WII u isn't even available in UK.

Wii U Dark Edition should only be available in the US, that may be the problem.

I noticed Wii U Dark Edition was no longer available for pre-order on Gamestop.com yesterday while I was browsing around. Might still be able to pre-order in-store though. I have mine pre-ordered and paid in full at my local store.

In British Columbia (canada) , the EB games got only 10 copies.
So...

No no no guys, I didnt actually get one. WHat I meant to say was, my province was only GETTING 10 copies.
But still, thats pretty rare.

Dark Edition is available on launch day for all platforms except 3DS. It just means the site sold out on the Wii U version as that seems to be the one people are ordering the most.

There is no Wii U Dark Edition in Aus.

I called Acti support about it and they said they would email me if they ever found out about it coming out here. I never did get that email.

But it's been a month and a half now- if it were coming out here, I think we would have heard about it coming out here. I think there is no Wii U PAL Dark Edition. I guess it's payback for Gnarly in the PS3 (console less people have than Wii) bundle, but I just take it as that they got to have him cheaper with the Wii

But it's seriously frustrating... Wii U is my favourite console. I can't say I'm shocked, though, as apparently it sells poorly in the UK. Won't be surprised if Aus gets the shaft again this time and we won't see variants such as Nitro and Enchanted... It will be affecting my purchases made for future instalments...

By the way, off topic, but has anyone seen GNARLY or PUNCH singles here? I'm still looking for doubles of those two, and I'd like to see if I can find them rather than buy them from eBay first. I don't mean to sound insensitive to Europers who typically get things even later than us, but I really think we should have some as well with how Activision has been about us with variants. You guys want the S2 Drobots for them?

I checked my local Gamestop and they said the Wii U Dark Edition is sold out company wide. I tried calling the other Gamestop's in the area and they had the same story, I waited to long to order it I guess...

Despite it being sold out across all Gamestop locations USA, it just popped up as available within Canada at EBGames "(Quantities Extremely Limited)"....I'm gonna switch one of my Dark PS3 starters as soon as they open today!

There has never been a Wii U Dark Edition for preorder within Australia, so I'm opting for the Wii version for now. Then, when I get a Wii U, I'll go for the regular Wii U starter.
