Unfortunately only the World Cup (Kickoff) Countdown's video works. Spring Trigger Happy's video is private, the others do not work currently.

I added World Cup (Kick Off) Countdown's video. Springtime Trigger Happy's video is private but uploaded, the others are missing. I've added the screenshots I found so far.

World Cup Countdown's name in the video is "Kickoff Countdown", Spring Trigger Happys's name in the (private) video is "Springtime Trigger Happy"

Totally agree with everything you said. I imagine Kickoff Countdown will be released just before the world cup 2014.
I don't think I like the look of these variants, because like you said, the originals look SO much better.
Also with Jade Fire Kraken, that makes the total number of Swappable figures 23 x 23 which is 529 combinations! And there probably is even more variants to be discovered soon.

Fire Kracken and Starstrike look awesome in their variant forms (SS looks like she's gone Dark, and that works for me). I like Jade, and China. Combined!

well with the Dragon Dances here in the netherlands there is always a "red"Dragon, with looks like Fire Kraken alot, but then there is this "second"Dragon who's color is green/jade so....

So - who's thinks that Kickoff Countdown will be released Summer 2014 to coincide with the 2014 Brazil World Cup?

I actually really like Springtime Trigger Happy. Not really hot on the rocket's colour, but I always thought Trigger Happy would look cooler in purple.

I like the originality in World Cup Countdown, but they just made the design look odd! Especially with not changing his arm colour...

And Jade Fire Kraken is meh all around. The recolour isn't doing anything particularly wrong, but noting particularly right either, and his regular colour scheme is MUCH more exciting and colourful.

I'm just happy to see some better images and confirmation of Enchanted Lightcore(!) Star Strike. Hopefully she'll be a Wave 1 somewhere.

Given "World Cup"/"Kickoff" Countdown's name, likely a variant for next year.
Springtime Trigger Happy will probably be an Easter special.

I wonder if Target (in the U.S.) owns the 'Jade' variants? And 'Nitro' for that matter. I guess we'll know when Wave 2 debuts in a few weeks. I'm definitely interested in a Jade Fire Kracken.

By my count, that's 12 in game variants, plus at least 4 more legendaries. And potentially one more Nitro and who knows what else. Good gravy.

Activision is going for broke with the amount of variants in this iteration of Skylanders. A saving grace for those looking to purchase them is they won't all come out at once. Also, stores constantly have deals so that should reduce the cost. Although, the ultimate cost saver is not to buy them. Of these new variants, the only one I probably won't get is Springtime Trigger Happy.

Variants are starting to lose their meaning. Dark Spyro offered a way to give players of the 3DS version A Spyro toy, without doubling up on toys in their collection if they already owned the Console version. The Legendaries were a way for Toys R Us to get in on the action. Now every store that supplies this game has their own special variant that they're so stingy over. It's actually quite insulting, but I guess they only do it because people are willing to buy it.

Hmm. Alot of variants are unappealing this time around.

Enchanted Star Strike and some of the Legendaries are about all I'm interested in.

Agree with the seasonal landers. Also agree with the stingy stores comment. ASDA had the molten hotdog in the UK and when I asked about it, they said they have only ever had one in stock. How true that is I don't know, guess it could have been the guy keeping them and selling them on eBay. Who knows.
If they release them steadily through the year when there is nothing new out, maybe with with a dlc level, that would be awesome and keep the interest going, rather than just playing the same levels, but with a slightly painted different figure.

^ Enjoy your 17 levels. That's all you're going to get. Btw I agree with you, but until we stop buying the damn toys Activision isn't going to listen to that particular suggestion. I personally think it's the combination of adding toys AND content throughout the year will TRULY keep the interest going-not just a RGB re-do.

I'd love more game content. No fan of Disney Infinity but the playsets deliver 'bout 3 hours of gameplay (people say, I do not have Infinity myself). If I pay 25€ (about 32$) I want more than just 10 minutes (Empire of Ice etc.).

Fire kraken must get.

I think they put down the variants from the website. For example there is still the "Enchanted" button if you select star strike but the deeplinks are no longer working.

Because they know variants are leaked too early.

No doubt!

And they will very likely take immediate action, like taking down videos of the leak posted on youtube.
