With the Swap Force game only a few weeks away and information surfacing about what most stores are releasing for wave 1, there are no Dig or Sneak characters being mentioned.
I'm planning to buy most (if not all) of wave 1 on release day, but it's kind of a bummer knowing even with all that I still might not be able to access every area of the game during my first playthough.

Acti dosent want people to beat the whole game on day 1. It will kindof take away the fun.

It will be more than that you can't complete it day 1 as it will last longer.

Wasn't planning on completing the game on day 1.
With Giants it took my son and I at least a week or two to get to the end, then after that we still had to replay to collect any missing hats, chests, etc. We're still playing it to finish heroic challenges/quests for as many characters as possible before Swap Force arrives.

I am personally o.k. with this. Considering all of the SSA and Giants figs. Elemental gates won't be a problem. Only the new movement type challenges will be gated. I'm going to t-a-k-e m-y t-i-m-e this time around. Especially since no online=no d.l.c.

It took me 2 days to finish giants and SSA, I need to learn to pace myself lol. Still haven't had the patience to go back and get everything though.

Yeah, I'm also gonna take my time with Swap Force. I'd like to spread out my playtime for the 3DS (ugh) and console versions so that I've only beaten them by the time the next wave is out and I can get Dig and Stealth characters. Then I can work on actually 100%ing the game into January- and then work on completing it again on my Wii U, finishing the other two saves on the 3DS, and finishing Nightmare mode. If I rushed the game without even knowing what was in it, I could easily finish it within a week, that's what happened with Giants. Not finishing everything at once will help the game feel newer on repeat plays so that I'll actually feel enticed to take my time levelling new characters and admire the game. I've soaked in absolutely everything possible from Giants, so I have no desire to replay it after finishing it eight times. I hope that taking my time with Swap Force- not just the game, but the new characters- will keep it interesting.
It does irk me that the option isn't there to complete the game ASAP, but at least it will make me want to spread out my game time more. I rushed it too much with Giants especially since I watched it so closely before it came out(this time around, I haven't even looked at all the character trailers, the only reason I'm still in this section is to get news on new variants).
