Just trying to figure out how much money I will need day one. If not, does anyone know when they will be coming out? Also, if they are available day one, will it be all four we have seen or just some of them? Thanks in advance.

I don't know if this has been confirmed but Toys R Us has always had some legendaries on day one release. Personally I'm calling Free Ranger and Grim Creeper for day one. Again I'm just speculating on this.

If it's last year, they'll introduce some day one, and others later in the year.

Legendary Free Ranger, Grim and Zoo would be guaranteed purchases for me. Only Legendaries I got from Giants were Stealth Elf and Chill....wasn't interested in the others. They've always had Legendaries on day one though...now the better question is which ones are wave one.

I would think they'd do a legendary 3 pack like the previous two launches. They also had Legendary Bouncer available at launch for Giants. So...are there even 3 core characters that have been revealed as legendary that could make up a 3 pack? I would assume at least one of the Swap Force characters would be released as Legendary day 1 as well. It would be nice if it was Night Shift since he is not supposed be available in his regular form at launch.

Well, this is all speculation, but traditionally TRU has one of each package type for their Legendaries.

SSA: 1 triple, 1 single
Giants: 1 triple, 1 single, 1 giant, 1 lightcore

So following that, it stands to reason they will have a variety of them and spread them out over the next several months. Given that Night Shift and Free Ranger both have a Legendary, they might try to leverage the "swapping" aspect and put those front and center first day with a double pack of those two. That leaves one lightcore (Grim Creeper) and one regular (Zoo Lou), and maybe forego a new triple since we haven't seen any other indications of other Legendaries.

Of course, I don't think doubles are going to be a thing this time (just a Target exclusive packaging for Nitro, so you have to buy two to get their exclusive), and Night Shift likely isn't in Wave 1 so a more likely scenario is Free Ranger and maybe LC Grim Creeper or Zoo Lou on Day 1 (since both are Wave 1 in regular form), with the other hitting around Black Friday. Then Night Shift in February. Either way, I'm certain we will see at least Free Ranger on day 1 - they will want a Swapper since that is the gimmick this time.

Worst case, if they do go double packs is to do the Target thing and package Legendary Free Ranger with another figure so you have to buy two to get him. Maybe even packaged with the same 3DS pack ins like Target or worse - with regular Magna Charge. That would force you to have overlap if you want Nitro and Legendaries and the 3DS version. Not bad if you are getting them all, but not ideal if you don't want the regular and the variant.

At the moment I'm not seeing anything legendary swap force related on TRU. I would say check the site every other day to see if they come up out of the blue. They may release one and then more in November. I hope they stick to just 4 of these.
