Should the "Forgotten 8" have been lightcores? [CLOSED]

So you all know how Warnado and Wham-Shell got reposed as lightcores. Should the other six jave gotten reposed as lightcores? There have been threads about what they could do with them, but this is one for whether they should have or not. What are your thoughts on this? And does anyone think lightcores should be different characters all together? I personally hate buying the same characters twice just for one to light up. Even though they look cool.

Yes, they should have had 16 LightCores, 8 for the forgotten 8 and 8 for the new ones.

To be honest I like Light Cores but I also hate them because if they are a repose and not new they don't get the Wow Pow...which seems strange to me. For overall functionality I'd rather have a series 2/3 so I get all my abilities. If they'd just make Light Cores viable in that regard I'd get every Light Core no questions asked.
