Has there been any confirmation as to which buttons will do what on each console???

i ask becuz in the upgrade path video that skylanderdad posted http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q_f9dfpfMeM
you can clearly see that Blast Zone uses the Y button to use his fire breath attack (which i believed to be his secondary attack)

but In the same video Y is the button that spyro uses to activate his flight, which is his special attack, and Zoo Lou uses Y to hop on his hog, which since that attack is in his upgrade path means that it is his special attack as well....

has there been any official confirmation as of yet?

I managed to screencap one of the Wii U demo booths. They had a poster that showed the controls.

Here are the ones I remember(the ones that matter):
  • B Button is now JUMP
  • Y Button is now FIRST ATTACK
  • R/RT is still SECOND ATTACK (either X or A was also this, though I don't remember which)
  • L/LT is still TERTIARY ATTACK (same as second attack)
  • Pause Menu is still +

Thank god, it's only a small change to the controls. smilie

I haven't managed to figure out what the controls for PS360 are since I'm not interested in those versions, but I'll assume that they have the same layout using their equivalent buttons.

lol ugh the special attack and secondary attack button are the ones i was most curious about smilie
i dont see much reason in changing the controls much at all...take the wii u for instance
in Giants, B is first attack, Y is second and A is special...why not just keep that all the same and make X jump..

Will the Wii U game allow Wii Remote + Nunchuck Attachment and Pro Controller be used as well?

I am guessing the PS3 will be

X= Jump
Square = First Attack
Circle = Second Attack
Triange = Third Attack
Right Trigger 1 = Interact with non playables and environment

I'd swap around Circle and Triangle
