I know that question 1 has nothing to do with question 2 but I didnt wanted to make 2 topics.

1. Should I do the Heroic Challanges for my Skylanders?? Will the stats carry over?
I dont want to waste my time on playing the whole challanges like 30 times for nothing.

2. They confirmed that Toys for Bob is making the fourth game. Will they use the old graphic engine?
If yes, it would be a huge letdown.

1. We don't know, but all hope so.

2. Most likely, they'll use the same one this one uses. However, I wish for them to use the old one.

1. Not 100% sure, in an interview with Skylander Dad he said that if you boosted your character's speed so they were fast they would feel like that or better in Swap Force, which could just mean all the characters feel like they did at stat caps, or that stats carry over, so don't really know.

2. Wait it was confirmed that Toys for Bob is making the fourth game? where? also there is no way they would go back to the old graphics engine, every step backwards technologically loses tons of sales, and Activision doesn't operate that way, it will be as technically complicated or more than Swap Force.

TfB is definitely already working on the fourth game (usually a studio needs more than a year to make a triple A title). And it will be, of course, made with the new engine.

It's especially great to see kids at large in this environment. For many of the visitors, this is their first glimpse at how games are made, and they're wide-eyed at the glimpses they catch on monitors. The next Skylanders game, Swap Force, is being developed in New York by Vicarious Visions, so what is the game they're seeing here? It's a very sneaky top-secret preview of something they'll presumably be playing in 2014, a very distant future to kids who still measure time in lazy weekends and school holidays that last forever.

I know nothing about question 2, so I'll only answer the first one. If you're going to continue to play Giants or Spyro's Adventure at all, then I would suggest the heroics. If you plan on moving on to Swap Force and never coming back to the other two, then it's strictly your choice since the answer I heard was a bit vague. If you have the spare time and want to do the heroics for certain characters you like (or all of them), then I'd say go for it. It can't hurt anything, even if the stats don't carry over. However, if you really don't want to do them and are only looking to complete them for the sake of them carrying over, then the question would be if you're willing to take the time on a gamble like this. The interview I heard that's posted on some thread or another didn't really give a clear cut answer, other than if you're character is a certain speed then they'll "feel like" that speed in the new game. No idea what that's supposed to mean to be honest. Hope this helps in some small way.

1. If you want too. In Swap Force, from what I collected, all stats start at a new default. Your past heroics have no numbers effects, but "feel", for example, faster if you upgraded them onto their maximum speed in the past game.

2. I doubt it.
