Hi all...I am looking for a good image of Glumshanks that I can print on photo paper 8x10. I want to put it up on my son's wall next to the Kaos he has already. The problem is that every image I find gets all pixilated at that size. Do you think I could take a photo of the tv screen? Any help is appreciated.

If anyone here has the PC version of SSA installed you can easily help Shelly out by taking a screenshot of Glumshanks during a cutscene.

(Just hit Print Screen then paste into Paint/Photoshop/GIMP/KidPix/whatever)

I grabed this one from the "Keys to the Conquertron" video on my Wii..
I tweeked it in my painter progy...this is the best i could get...i printed one out..it looks ...ok...sorry
Maybe someone with a better TV(higher rez) and maybe on the Xbox or PS3...it looks better



Sorry its so big everyone...but the bigger i made it the less pixelated in got.

Only someone with the PC version, or a console connected to the PC as the screen or something to get real screenshots (or have some mod on their consoles like the game tester stuff we had when I was testing games, which allow taking screenshots directly from the console), will be able to get a proper, decent screenshot.

Man, I would love to get THAT setup for my XBox... My work XBox was connected to my work computer in a different way, so I just had to tell the XBox program on the computer to take a screenshot NOW, and it would. I think we could take video, too.

I thought to myself "it can't be that hard to find a HQ pic of him" and searched the web far and wide.. No luck at all. Geez! Good luck with it!

It's really cheap for consumers to setup a screen capture device nowadays. I'm currently looking into getting a Roxio Game Capture HD Pro (or equivalent) so I can do a Livestream of SWAP Force on launch day.

So ...potalflip...if I buy what you listed....can I then get a screen shot? Clearly..I am not a techy person. ..lol.

I'm not sure if this will help, but this is what I do if I want a screenshot from a game:
1. Go to You Tube and find a good, quality video of what you want (Try typing 'Skylanders Giants cutscenes' in the search bar for videos with Glumshanks).
2. Pause the video (make it full screen for a bigger image) and hit the PrintScreen button on your keyboard.
3. Open up an art software (e.g. Paint) and press ctrl + v to paste the image.
4. Crop, re-size and alter the image then print it.

I tried but image pixilated again. Thanks star dragon. I think portalflip has a great idea...wish I could do that or someone here could do it for me and email to me. Thanks for ideas.

Absolutely, but I wasn't about to suggest a $120 solution for this problem.

Im talking about an image like Aura's post in #10. I have an ok one now...but it's not the best. I'm thinking about the software portalflip suggested. But I gave a few videos feom utube to staples so itll be interesting what they can make happen. I'm picking up photos tomorrow so I'll post if it works. Thanks for all the help

I have the hardware to do it (my "VCR" is a USB device to take a TV signal into the computer), but my desktop computer is in one room and the XBox in another, and I have no room for either device in the other, LOL! Mine is made by a company called Hauppage, which seems to be THE name for TV devices, especially external ones like mine. PortalFlip's device looks like it would be better, that it's designed for games and can even take in commentary at the same time. Great for making gameplay videos, but not necessary here, LOL!

If you don't get anybody/anything soon, I'll look into trying it on my itty-bitty netbook.

In the meantime, whoever does it might want to know what cutscene/"movie" to get it from, where he looks "right" for you.
