Sadly, lots of people don't even try.
Although we can't hold every reader/member accountable for checking EVERY possible thread to make sure something hasn't already been posted ... it's really not too much to ask that everyone at least checks the first 25 most-recent threads or so on the first page.

One could argue that the staff at DarkSpyro could do a better job with pinning "Stickies" or "Hot News" threads to the top of the list, although that would necessitate more maintenance since they'd need to be taken down once they're no longer "Hot News".
