There's no similarity, except for color. They're totally different.

That's your opinion, to us they look like when they were thinking of the other water core, they just changed the gender of the other one.

Actually, I kinda see Punk Shock as the female version of Gill Grunt and Riptide more of an amphibian than a fish creature.

Riptide is a humanoid and so is Punk Shock, they are also blue! That's it! The ones that I think are similare are Wind Up and Countdown, they have similare poses, but anyways Riptide is pirate fish thing and Punk Shock looks to be more of a ranged Skylander. Also keep in mind we haven't seen the toy form yet.

There is plenty of similarity, they are both water types, they are both humanoid, they both wear golden armor, they both carry 1 weapon, I didn't see the Riptides feet on the water base so I didn't know he was a frog. you shouldn't insult people just because they have a different opinion than you though >.>

I think that they look alike, however when we get clearer pics of PS then it will be fair to judge. I hope PS is not like Riptide, Mainly because of originality and I hate Riptide. Awesome name, ugly lander.

Perhaps the term "gillmaid" or "gillwoman" would be proper for Punk Shock. And I still view Riptide to be a frog.
