Level Up on Swaplanders [CLOSED]

I am aware that this is saved on the top half of the toy, however I was wondering about the following.
For Example if Magna Charge is level 10 and you switched him out to Magna Buckler, would Magna Buckler also be level 10 or does each combo level up speratly?

If your Magna is 10, it will stay 10 no matter what lower half you use.

Yes, he would still be level 10 if his top half is swapped with the bottom half of different Swap Force Skylanders.
