I just thought about how no website or developer mentioned them in any blogs or interviews this time around. Are they only writing for Toys for Bob's Skylanders games?

I think all they did with SSA was the basic plot, their contribution to Giants being near enough the same. To be honest, they weren't really needed. They just felt like a name that people knew to promote the game a little when it was a new franchise.
