I'm not getting more than 8 total, and that's a liberal estimate. I'm not much of a collector, unlike most portal masters here I have a relatively small collection, and don't mind it. I think playing 600+ hours on Pokemon game ultimately drained my collect-them-all spirit.
And my wallet desires several other games coming out later this or next year...

Haha I have been saving a LOT of money so I plan on buying all 16 cores and all 16 swappers YAY ME

I am nearly done with my saving period. Just do 20 more hours of work, which earns me 5 dollars an hour, then let my allowance deal with the rest as soon as it releases.

we can just pray that the heroics is not on the figures this time around.... one of the things that pied me off with ssa/sg was that i was forced to buy em all if i wanted to max out the skylanders...

Remember, there are no heroics this time around, only 20 challenges you can find in Swap-Force Zones. Though, there is certainly going to be something involving getting all of the figures.

you have info link to back up this info?.... and if true what plan they do have to force us to buy'em all this time around???.... just wondering... or have acti just soften up a bit.... who knows... just want answeres.

You would have to catch em' all to get 100% anyways

I don't mind having a small collection either. I like to save my money so I can get Skylanders from the next game or get a phone and stuff like that. For SWAP Force i'm problably only getting 21/ about 80 and i'm fine with that.

The developers said so about there being no heroics and 20 new challenges instead at E3. One of the major reasons is that all of the heroics now do not have jumping integrated with them, so it makes perfect sense. And I don't know what the new gimmick is to get all of the figures.

My current collection is 20 from SSA and Giants combined, So far for swap force I'm planning to get one of each movement type for the swappers(no clue if I'll actually get all 8, but 2 in starter, and I definitely want Rattle Shake, and Trap Shadow), and maybe three additional core characters, probably Roller Brawl, Fryno, and one more. Unless someone just hands me a bunch of money.

...No you don't. Why is it that people still believe 100% completion means having all characters?

I won't be buying 16 of each Dark, Legendary, and Alter Ego Swaplander.

My whole goal, is to display the main 256 combination... in time. To display all 256 in time, I can only lay them out in my kitchen or take a lined up pic.

With the Dark, Legendary, and - I assume they will have them - Alter Ego Swaplanders, I will just display them according to how many there are. So, we know there are 2 Dark Swaplanders, so I will display them like this -

Dark Wash Buckler
Dark Wash Zone
Dark Blast Zone
Dark Blast Buckler

Same with the Legendaries announced so far -

Legendary Night Shift
Legendary Night Ranger
Legendary Free Ranger
Legendary Free Shift

Good enough for me, seeing as I am buying 17 of the normal Swaplanders (16 x 16 for 256 and 1 to keep sealed) already, plus 4 of every normal character. Wallets already hurting, but oh well.

gamemaster how do you store all of your collection?! your house must look like an episode of hoarders only much cleaner & only cluttered with skylanders xD

LOL! Well, I just have 3 Stanley Sortmaster Jr. cases for the entirety of the Spyro's Adventure characters, and 5 Stanley Sortmaster cases (bigger ones) for the entirety of the Giants collection. It even has spots for the Giantkicks.

You could look at my collection topic for pics, but it seems bandwidth is sucking some of my pics off of that topic. So, I am relocating them to another Photobucket account.
