JCW555's 6 Month Moderation Performance Review. [CLOSED]

So 6 months (technically 6 months 1 day) ago I became a moderator for darkSpyro, and I thought I'd give all of you the opportunity to tell me how I'm doing. Give me good points, bad points, and points I can work on to improve my skills as a moderator.

On that note then, criticize away!

Very brave doing this JCW! I give you props.


Good: You are very friendly to the users, and want to be treated like a normal person. Only good moderators have that quality.

Bad:You overreact WAY too easily. Giving out MMs and closing topics for the slightest offence or argument. This could cause a lot of backlash on you and I really think you should stop. Make sure that when you give an MM it could offend a lot of people severely or it is breaking a rule obviously. Also, don't close topics until there are many posts a minute of pure arguing which has no point and is offending everyone.

Take things too seriously (at least in the Skype group) but otherwise probably the best of the mods.

Good: People love you and you are respected, and you're awesome :3 You do your job smoothly.

Bad: You don't come on as much as normal moderators (as least, in my point of view)
