I believe in the Four Goddesses. See, long ago the Earth had no order, and was a chaotic land full of death, despair, and mean people. Then the First and Second Princesses came around somehow somewhere and they banished chaos long ago and restored order to the Earth so everyone, human, plant, and animal, can live in harmony. Somehow somewhere the Third and Fourth followed suit.
The First Goddess (or the Sun Goddess) raises the sun so we may wake up and work throughout the day. The sun grows our crops and gives everybody a warm feeling outside. She allows the plants to grow and for people to wear fashionable sunglasses. However, we aren't allowed to stare at her majesty and depicting her in any way results in a terrible heat wave and sunburn. (nudgenudgelookleft)
The Second Goddess (Moon Goddess) raises the moon after the First sets the sun down, allowing people to sleep, the tides to rise, and give everyone a cool feeling outside. She was never as godly appreciated as the First godly Goddess and so every now and then she goes on her godly period and for 3-4 months the nights are longer and colder. Still we all love her because we're stupid and we don't like sunburns.
The Third Goddess (Goddess of Love) has given us a wide variety of emotions, particularly the ability to love one another in corny and cliche ways. This has damaged us as it has also introduced jealousy, rage, envy, and the horrible demon that we can only call Lust, but we've all benefited from this great gift, and the holiday we call Valentine's Day.
The Fourth Goddess (Goddess of Misc) is an unknown being. We have no records of her actions as a godly goddess, and as such don't know what her purpose is in this world. Maybe it's something to do with the night sky, or a lesser form of love, or the giant star that we refer to as the sun, in which case, the Fourth Goddess is a moocher that is feeding off the success of the three before her. But we have to love her anyway because godliness, and trust that she has good purpose so we may record it for later followers to read.
