Will the news drought continue, or do we hope to hear something from Comic Con or Gamescom?

I would hope that we see new things from both. Maybe they could release the new magic and earth at comic con, and the new life and other new earth at gamescom, and 4 new core figures at each.

I want to see an image of the poster that shows all the figures

ComicCon and Gamescom are both coming up, so we'll expect a lot of info.

Comic Con's starting July 18 through 21 this week, while Gamescom starts in August.

Any specific date in august?

August 21st through 25th.

I've been telling people for months, that there is a trend when it comes to Skylanders news.

Toy Fair: New Skylanders announced. Very little info
Between Toy Fair and E3: no new info
E3: More info released in a slightly better quantity
Between E3 and the last couple of weeks leading up to launch: no new info
Right before launch: info slowly trickles out

Don't expect any new news at Gamescon or SDCC. It's been this way for the past two games now.

If that's true GameMaster78 that's a little sad. After all, I mean, 3 months with no new information? People are going to get tired of waiting. Atleast in movies they'll releash a new trailer every month or something... plus you get interviews and what not. it's really annoying.

We got some gameplay of Swarm and Chill in Chapter 9 of Giants during Gamescon last year didn't we?

It matters not to me if they don't release one iota of information between now and launch; it will only shoot them in the foot with Disney around the corner.
