I'm only getting Rattle Snake, Stink Bomb, Star Strike, Blast Zone, Magna Charge, and Wash Buckler. I stand by that. No new series or LCs or recolors. That may still sound like a lot, but at least two of them will be in a starter pack, and that only leaves me with 4 others to pick up. Out of 32, that's pretty good.

My plans (after feeling stung by Giants):

Corelanders: All
Series 3: Only any that didn't have a Series 2
Lightcore: NONE (it really is unimpresive)

I'm not getting Disney Infinity, to me, it seems like a major ripoff of Skylanders.

Disney Infinity is copying the business design of "toy figures that interact." There is no ripoff of Skylanders involved. Infinity isn't a fantasy world with weird little creatures with some ignorant villain trying to spread evil across the land. Given Skylanders success it was only a matter of time before other companies got into the market with similar toys.

Competition breeds innovation.

Shouldn't that be "innovation breeds competition"? Since it's the innovation of Skylanders that created competition rather than the competition of Skylanders creating innovation.

Although, I suppose in some cases, it could be true but there isn't really anything all that innovative about Infinity. Okay, it has things different than Skylanders but none of these are new.

No, competition forces companies to improve their products and try/create new things. Skylanders will have to improve if Infinity starts to encroach on their profit margin, otherwise they will fail and we might only see one more Skylanders game before Activision gives up on it.

I welcome Disney stepping into the ring. I'll either get better Skylanders, or my wallet will finally be able to have a break to be used for something else.

Going to wait for sales and discounts but I've only see good ones from the starters and like giants I only would probably opt for the legendary, LC or variant equivalent over the orignal: for example I only plan for giants to use polar whirlwind and not the s2 version like how i have the glow in the dark sonic boom, granite crusher and legendary bouncer and LC Drobot and I'll have LC hex and not the s2 version when she comes out.

I foresee more figures riding shelves like how they are now that not really anyone is going to be buying all of them. I'm still sticking to the guns of this being the skylander finale.

In all seriousness I think activision is focusing on the undead skylanders,I just love them!

Because I wanna save my money, I'm not gonna pre-order the game or get it on release date like I did with the other two. Instead, I'm gonna get it for Christmas. Also, Instead of getting the Wii version, I'm gonna get the PS3 version and I'll buy the 3DS version after Christmas.

As for Swaplanders, I'm only gonna get the starter pack ones and ones that I like the look of as long as I have at least one of each element and one of each ability so I can complete the game.

For S2 and S3, I'll only get my favourite ones since I already have quite a few figures from SA and Giants that I could use.

Finally, for Newlanders, I'll just be getting the ones I like the look of.
