So, we should be getting some extra E3 Hot Dogs for our channel. They will be used for contests. If you guys have any creative ways people can enter or what they should do, leave your comments below.
The last few contests we did were just about leaving comments, but these guys are way to valuable, we think people should put in effort to try and win one.

Possibly a writing contest? Like, you have to write a short story on the "adventure" E3 Hot Dog went on at E3 while he was there, what new Skylanders he "met", and all that other stuff. It could be very original and awesome if the people have an imagination. I think that would be pretty cool, because stories are always time consuming, and can be amazing when well-written.

depends on how many you get. I think it should be one per contest. For instance the writting contest is a good idea....but i suck at writting stories. So maybe that, a photography one, fan art one, create your own skylanders, etc. Too bad it isnt online, cause u could have a rumble royal for one of them

Off the top of my head there could be a few.

For starters with a similar writing contest idea you should have others try at saying which swap force combination they would use and why? Throw in a trivia question about one of your e3 videos to make sure they have been watching them on your channel and voila.

Fan art of the new swaplanders is always a good way to go too.

Or make it a trivia type contest of things seen on the e3 videos and perhaps some of your videos in general. Those that have watched your videos would know the answers easily and it might seem meaningful that way in where the hot dogs end up.

I would say use one or more ideas that people suggest so if you did get more than one to give away it varies the contests a bit.

How about a design your own Skylander competition?

Submit fan art or prototype figure (I know some very talented Skylanders fans out there) with your Skylanders name and a quick bio?

Possibly making a skylanders stop motion?

Yeah, try and outdo skylanderdad's antics. I want to do a field test and see if playing with your skylanders on the beach and water like was mentioned by the E3 demo guy will ACTUALLY keep it working.

And I want it to be outside for a week for 10 hours a day in 94+ degrees and in salt water. IMO it's not fit for use and they should stop mentioning that kids are doing crazy stuff to them.

I've always wanted to talk to you guys! my idea is that you pick your favourite skylander and write the following things(note that there is alot of things to make it hard because everybody loves a challenge and you obviously wouldn't make it easy to win a BRONZE hot dog) anyway heres the ideas:
Write a poem about the skylander(has to rhyme)
Then you make a story with the skylander as the main character
And finally draw a picture of the skylander(you have a choice of either draw it on paint or draw it in real life)

This would be the best contest in the world and it would have a awesome prize plus it would be really fun!

Hmm.. How about a paragraph about your favorite Swaplander?

I have an idea:
Each individual gets to do something their really good at-
Hotdogandzap: He can write a paragraph or two
Prextail202: He can make a stop-motion animation video
And ETC.
It could be judged by creativity and quality.

I dont want to give out ideas but baby food (Peas/carrots) comes to mind. Make it for the kids, age 5 - 13 can only enter. The video has to show proof of what is being added to the hot dog.

i like the skylanders draw contest, also , do one contest hare on dark only, might be good,!

Upload a photo with their pet dog on your Facebook wall. Most votes( via likes) wins. Or to add another level to the contest, the winner of the final top 3 liked photos are judged by your family.

YouTube accounts are easy and free to create. I guess you can use Facebook also, but to share and for others to see, it is easier to post/share/search on Youtube. The Title could be "Skylanders Bronze Hot Dog Eating Contest".

Why not a haiku?
It's a creative way to write.
And fun to think up.

I personally would add that the contestant (The one that is in the video) is from the age of 5-13 to enter the contest. Grown-Ups eating a Hot Dog is not appealing as to, say a kid grossing out on a baby food chocolate syrup pickle pigs feet Hot Dog. Dont ya say?

Let the little guys enter. The ones who never get 6 of each character or buy doubles. The ones whose parents work hard just to buy them a few so they can play it. I know it would be hard to tell who is taking the truth but maybe one of the contests could be for those guys. I myself have 2 or 3 of every figure so it even cancels me out. I just know some are not as fortunate add those like me or matteo or gm78. They deserve something to be period of after listening to the haves brag on here everyday. Mauve they can write in ands talk about collection they wish they had and how hard their parents Work to get them even the few they may have. As Americans we always want want want but never give. So if you have one to spare I would do something for those that have to listen to the rear of the people here that say look at me. It's time to recognize those guys on this board.

I'd hate to seem like I'm bringing attention to myself, but that would be me. I have a rather poor collection (listed in my GB), and this morning I had to beg and plead for a S1 Drobot. It was really humiliating to plead on my knees in a busy Walmart, but I did get it! ^_^

I have to say, I definitely would rather see these toys go into hands of kids who REALLY appreciate it and otherwise could not get it.
It's not as fun to give a prize to someone who could easily go buy it, but unfortunately we can't discriminate against parents with fat wallets. lol, but somehow it would be cool to set aside one for YOUNGER children.

Thanks for the ideas, when we get them, I may post a video on youtube asking the same thing. Too many times, I hear a good idea, after the fact.
A writing contest is not bad, but how do you pick a winner. I like to make the contests so the subskybers can't get mad at us if they don't win. No one likes a sore loser, especially when we give hundreds of dollars of stuff away for free, just because we want to.

You said yourself that you wanted the contestant to work for Bronze Hot Dog. This could teach them that not everything is given to them and that sometimes you may have to do something that makes you get out of your comfort zone to get something you want (Of course this goes with out saying, not doing anything illegal). If my son (7 yrs. old) wants it, he would have to decide how bad he wants it. Let me just say, he eats his Hot Dogs plain so I would be curious how far he would go to get a Bronze Hot Dog. I would think it would be up to the 5-13 year old child to decide if he wants to participate. If the child has no problem participating, I don't know why a parent would disagree. I can see why a parent may not like this type of contest if their child is like mine and might pass on it all together, but saying that, that must mean they really did not want it that bad in the first place, and I am sure there are plenty of kids that would jump at the chance to enter this contest .
As for sore losers, whenever there is a winner you have a great chance to have a sore loser, especially when there are more losers than there are winners. And even greater chance when kids are involved.

That's my 2 cents worth. Sorry if I rattle on too much.
