So I've seen some people be really into these GITD figures and wondered what makes them so cool to those people? I personally don't like them mainly because I'd like to see the character painted but if the paint job is shoddy thats even worse than GITD for me. Also I didn't pick up Giants until that $35 starter kit sale so what happened on Black Friday that is making people of thinking of waiting til then to get Swap Force?

I think people like "Glow in the Dark" figures, because they "Glow in the Dark."

Well yes but why is GITD so attractive as a variant for things in general? I don't understand the appeal for either kids or adults.

Yeah, playing Skylanders with the blinds down and no light is fun.

Glow in the Dark characters, like all Giants variants, start at Level 5 with 2100 coins.
They're mainly for the die hard collectors like me and GameMaster.

What about the Black Friday sale? What was so great about it for Giants? If I recall there was a figure deal at least but not anything else.

I think Walmart at least had the Starter packs down to around $30 or so which was fantastic. That's when I waited for the 3DS version both in SSA and in Giants. I'm hoping they'll do the same this year for Swap Force as well.
The only GITD thing was the GITD Cynder in starter packs at Walmart early in the release with a GITD Sonic Boom being exclusive there as well. Why is that so popular? I have no idea, but it must be a kick for kids. When I was younger I freaking loved glow in the dark things. I've inadvertently been pulling things out and keeping them in my room and I hate having anything glowing at all...I need like complete darkness to sleep now. So much in fact that I have to cover up my Wii U and TV's standby lights!

Don't forget the S1 chases of GitD Zap, Wrecking Ball, and Warnado, as well as the eupropean exlcusive of GitD Fright Rider.

The only GITD that I have seen have a bad paint job was Cynder. The rest had well done paint jobs.

Did it show up as special? Also, around Black Friday, was the limited release of the Glitter chase variants of Sprocket, Sonic Boom (Ironically the same as GITD Boom), and Hot Head (THE rarest Giants variant.).
