so does anyone honestly think that any of the retired skylanders will be showing up in stores again i got and <got really lucky with him; but the others i cant find anywhere (i got into the game late) and are affordable but is just too much idk why i paid $64 for so thoughts are?

really? cuz i cant seem to find any of them anywhere its all the recent ones and some of the wave one skylanders arent showing up either (S2 )

i kno thats a lie because i am seeing more of S1 drill seargent than S2 and target is constantly holding the empire of ice

No, they aren't being produced anymore. What you see in stores is the last itty bit of figures you'll see.

i only wanted one of each skylander but somehow i ended up getting both versions of hot dog

^ eBay and Amazon are your best bet. Also, if you're allowed to, check Craigslist.

Wam-shell and Ghost Roaster are both $60+ here. Don't think I can be bothered with that.
Dino-rang and Sunburn however, are both still in shops.

Boomer, Ghost Roaster, and Dino-Rang are the rarest here.

BUT, I recently went to an arcade and got a Boomer for 10,000 points.

Toys R US has more S1 than S2 at their local store (Bloomington, IL). You can get the 3 pack with Camo shipped for $24.99

Toys R US has Voodood for $9.99 for ship to home.

yea i guess i could probably get voodood but honestly he wuz the one i wanted the least and matteomax you really just went into an arcade and you said hey look a boomer i guess ill take it for 10,000; must be great to live in an area with an arcade

ive never heard of that place...i am just hoping they will remake all the retired skylanders and since i love the ones i have already then y do i need the new ones? but if i dont hav the old ones and they just made newer ones, then of course im gonna get series 3 boomer

it's a regional thing. Here in Sweden, Boomer is fairly easy to get for just above retail (and Boomer 3 packs were in stores as recently as February) whereas Wham-shell is nearly impossible to find. It all depends on how the stock was distributed to your country/region

Things like this is why ebay are awesome, though i've had alot of luck checking stores that sell second hand skylanders, CeX in the UK have draklight crypt (the full set) for £18, Boomer for £6 etc etc, if you don't care about the cards or stickers its a really good way to fill out a collection (and then you can do what i did and find the cards online cheap )

They have Camo and Sunburn here.....And a huge load of red drill sargeants (pm me if you need one)

Help me out with this...cause it's irritating me. Maybe I don't get toy production. First, where has Activision stated they are not producing anymore SSA figures? Second, they are still selling starter packs---is their intent not to deliver product for consumers that are still in demand? Production costs too high to justify another round of production?

Just wanting to understand this a bit more. I'd love to see their production run numbers of certain figures, cause either they were very popular (and are thus hard to find) or someone messed up and made waaayyy more of certain characters. I think DragonsDream is right--maybe the tallys are on the mark, but the equal distribution across regions was a disaster.

If you wish to pay tons of extra $, some asian and chinese shopping sites have SSA characters (even had Darklight Crypt 2 months ago, haven't seen it since though).

Yeah, I found Camo, Dino-Rang and Zook at a local California Walgreens..think it's a place no one goes to look for them. Not sure about online ordering with them.

Topics like this is what makes me glad I got into the game when it came out lol- But I'd say TRU (Toys R Us) is your number one best bet to find them- I was there several times in the past few weeks and everytime I go there I see tons of S:SA figures (Sometimes theres more of them than the Giants figures).
Who all do you have left to get? And do you plan to aquire them all?

We call them "retired" because they dont show up as often anymore and im not whining cause they didnt get reposed im whining because i cant find the ones i want and yes i would like to aquire the ones i want (most of them) and the only ones i need now are wham shell, boomer, and dino rang (i found voodood at toys r us)

Ironic, the stores are flooded with some of these guys, now 6 or so months later, they're impossible to find. I'm going to start stocking up on some newlanders I have a hunch won't get remade.

i was hoping that they will come back in between the end of the last wave of giants and first wave of swap force so i can get wham shell HOWEVER if they are remaking the ones i dont have then screw the S1 figures but i really wanted whamshell though because his figure looks cool

I just paid out ebay prices for Wham Shell, i don't regret it- he was very fun to play and max out- easily worth the £15-20 I spent (i can't remember anymore)

All I have seen is a S1 Flameslinger,Drobot,Eruptor,Sonic Boom,Warnado and Dino-Rang (hopefully going to pick that up soon!)

Here all i fin is a warnado series 1 flameslingervand eruptor the adventure pack items but are all preowned but i have seen an ssa ps3 starter pack

i feel like i shouldnt trust those people because it is suspiciously cheap

So you have seen one over here in NZ?

Never brand new, but there are a lot in the $40-50nz range on Trademe.
