Call it OCD or just being organized....both my daughter and I line up our 8 skylanders, one from each element before we play to cut down on hunting for someone you want to play with.

So who's your 8?

Here is my rotation depending on if i'm playing SSA or Giants

My favorite 8 are based on SSA since that game I put most of my efforts into maxing out just one from each element, and in SSG I am trying to max out all the giants and all 8 newlanders.

My inital grouping for S:SA was -
Magic - Spyro
Life - Sealth Elf
Undead - Hex
Tech - Drobot
Fire - Ignitor
Earth - Prism Break
Water - Zap
Air - Sonic Boom

After this first grouping, I am going through the game creating "teams" based on how they were lined up in the collection screen within the game. As it worked out, there is one skylander from the initial team (Team Leader) within each of the new groupings.

For S:G, the initial grouping was -
Tech - Bouncer
Earth - Crusher
Undead - Fright Rider
Fire - Sunburn
Life - Shoom Boom
Magic - Pop Fizz
Water - Chill
Air - Jet vac

Not sure yet how I will play through with the other Skylanders.

Funny how I actually do that just about all the time... (Well more recently I haven't cuz I've just been using Ninjini and Stealth Elf.) But normally.

Undead: Series 2 Cynder

Life: Stealth Elf

Water: Chill (Only other water type is S2 Slam Bam)

Fire: Flameslinger (Ignitors my only other Fire type)

Wind: Jet Vac

Earth: FlashWing (Previously S2 Bash)

Tech: Sprocket

Giants: Ninjini (But I normally have TreeRex and Eye-brawl out as well. )

I tend to go with the Giants... Before I had Ninjini but after I got the 4 I was missing, I had my newest Magic standing in for her, Double Trouble. When I have guys to work on I might substitute them in. What I do is put them in a semi-circle in the order I would need them for the vault, with magic items and certain other characters needing work (and my bank, Stealth Elf, I used to let her get all un-needed money, until I got her to the max) in the middle of the semi-circle.

So my semi-circle is:
Undead - Life - Air - Fire - Water - Magic - Tech - Earth

So usually:
Eye-Brawl - Tree Rex - Swarm - Hot Head - Thumpback - Ninjini/Scarlet Ninjini - Legendary Bouncer - Crusher
