The new game has already been announced, the last characters have been released. It's coming to an end.

I remember when it was first announced, we were still learning about the new Skylanders.

Good riddance! It was nothing more than the previous game redux. It didn't really feel like a new game to me.

Now Swap Force does seem like an actual new game.

I'm staying with Giants, actually... I want Swap Force but I can't afford all the reposes and my OCD would force me to buy them to unlock the Heroics...

Agreed. Not nessicarily new, but it felt a lot nicer to me with Quests, etc(reduced levels aside).

I disagree on Swap Force looking- I mean- seeming to play new. It has jumping, but they don't seem to utilise it like a proper platformer would and it looks to me like they just put it in a couple of spots more as a "showing it off" feature. I mean, those bridges could have been platforms, for instance, it just seems more like a fresh coat of paint rather than an innovation for the gameplay. Course, it's so early in that I could be utterly wrong.

Now that I noticed that giants will gone.....Well we will miss you giants.

"it just seems more like a fresh coat of paint" exactly.... so i am skipping swap force and i am now waiting for skylanders4 that are gonna be made by toys for bob.

when it comes to sg it was more of the same but it was an improvement of the first and still a very good game. so it was totally worth getting.... the idea of giants was genius to

I liked SSA better than giants, even though I love flashwing, the first one just entertained me longer, even though I beat it in the same amount of time (2 days), but I didn't collect any skylanders from the first game until mid-June, I didn't really love giants as much, too similar and graphics too similar as well, plus the hub sucked, the first one just gives me a nostalgic feeling when I play it, I don't get that from giants, yet, I'm pumped for SF tho!

Yeah, Giants to me was SSA part deux. The new game engine / engineering and character re-coding I'm looking forward to it.
