Portal of power ploblem [CLOSED]

OK so im up to the level rumbeltown in giants and when i put a skylander on the portal and on the screen it shows what element that skylander is from but the skylanders wont go in the game. It sometimes work sometimes does not plz help???

I saw a video with a person who had the same problem as you, and in the comments someone said to unplug the portal, blow on the metal bit and put the wire back in the console.

This may not work but I think this is what the person said.

When the game or portal is acting up, I reboot the game (exit completely out and restart it), maybe even the console. It fixes a LOT, especially problems which weren't problems before.
