I and other users noted that he looked like he was using his beakers as maracas. Maybe that would be racist to some?

True, other game companies have gotten into trouble for less.

Personally, I don't really have an issue, I'm going with the theory they ran out of time to make both his potions light up (Look how well received Hot-head's lightup was), so they went with something that would be easier.

theres nothing racist about maracas its an instrument.

I prefer the old one, but i dont mind this one, looks like we only get 1 light up effect though as opposed to both pots lighting up

both light= more light 1=less like

I actually prefer the new one. It at least doesn't mislead people to believe that both bottles would light up (unlike Hot Head's hands & the top half of Chill's blade).

guess people are dumb enough to consider a medical flask with maracas -.-. tbh its the production cost and time to produce them that they considered the current model. 1 LED + easier to produce = more profit for Activision. its more like LC drobot. as long they make them to meet the demand its all good for me but yea the previous 1 was better.

I can see why people don't like the new version. For starters it doesn't look anything like the one we saw on the poster or other media and it's almost similar to the original version. I think this would be lightly better if this was our original , but the actual original does show more character and what he's known for.

WHAT!? Chill only lights up in the bottom of the blade!? No!

To be honest they both look awesome ! So I don't see why to hate it .....

The first pose was really awkward and silly looking.

And Swarm and Hothead proved the that LC effect would've been disappointing if you were expecting both beakers to light up.
