"New England" has been a nickname of the area for as long as I remember, probably my life long (which is now a considerable length). There are even sports teams and businesses which go with "New England" for their name rather than the state or city: New England Patriots, New England Ford.

You're partially right...New England consists of 6 states:

Maine
Vermont
New Hampshire
Massachusetts
Connecticut
Rhode Island

Weird... My life long it has seemed to be just the 3, though it feels familiar and logical to include Maine, Mass., Connecticut and Rhode Island. I've rarely actually heard it actually defined, come to think of it, LOL! And I've been sure that at least the northern/north eastern part of New York was included... Places like Plattsburgh, NY and Burlington, VT have always seemed like pretty much the same area and same culture. Half of the American channels available to us (I'm just north of the NY/Vermont border) are from Plattsburgh. the other half from Burlington.

As for Molton Hot Dog and Hot Dog, I hear the Scorpion Striker pack with Hot Dog has been starting to appear in Canadian stores, haven't seen it personally yet... And I've read intel that MHD is arriving soon.... I think people are starting to be able to pre-order from Walmart.
