Anything you heard about game length at this point is VERY premature. I will be screaming with you if it is not at least as long as SSA. The shortened length of SG was a distinct negative in my view.

EDIT: I saw the new post about the game length. That's a bummer. I'll have hope that it will be larger though now that Adventure Packs are making a comeback.

When they say length, they mean the amount of time it takes to pass giants....that may mean it has the same number of levels as giants....OR it could mean it is has the same level count as SSA, just with shorter level time......

as long as the new adventure packs will make up for it. thats good enough tho.

I'm not overly surprised. SSA still wins for game play and story content in my books though.

I'm not concerned with the length. Tho ssa was good and long and I didn't/don't have a problem with the length of giants. Still plenty to keep busy once the games beat.

SSA had 9 more chapters, thats amazing, I want a game that I dont complete quickly

I do not understand why so many do not like the "shortness" of Giants - I mean after beating SSA, all you can do with your 32+ figures is 32 Heroic Challenges each - that's it. Giants offered so much more - difficulty settings, 3 different sets of 7 arena battles. 9 quests for each of the now 100+ Skylanders you can possibly have, plus a slew of new heroic challenges that all can do. I've had the game since day one, i only recently completed my 100% on Nightmare mode, and am now working on Heroic Challenges and personal quests for each of my figures.

It depends on how much you are playing.Even if the make 40 Chapters a Hardcoregamer could finish it in 1-2 days.

Giants took as long to complete as SSA. There may have been less levels, but they were much longer and had many more extra areas to explore in them than the SSA levels did. Saying that SSW is the same length as Giants means nothing.

People just assume "Giants had less levels, therefore it is shorter" which isn't the case at all.

SG's levels were much longer then SSA's and SG had arena battles which gave it another whole bunch of levels (at least in nightmare they are a good challenge) im happy with the content in SG (and therefore should be happy with SSF), but i can understand why people want more chapters
