Thumpback Isn't Glowing? [CLOSED]

Could anybody post their Thumpback's lighting up? Mine might be defected.

Once I get home I'll post a pic of mine glowing.
I had a run-in with this problem, too, except I was trying to get him to light up on a 3DS portal without connecting the game via infrared. Because I'm an idiot.

Both arms are supposed to light up.

It's not quite as powerful as Jet Vac's lights, which I suspect is due to the bumpy nature of the barnacles.

In case it isn't clear, the bumpy purple parts on the backs of his wrists light up (light up blue somehow), that's it. It kinda shines through to the front of his hands.

I thought it was pretty bright. I mean, it looks bright to me, but the picture didn't pick up on it very much. I'm not the OP though....hmm... I'll have to take a look at some in the store.

I don't have any problems with my Thumpback's lighting at all. He works just as well as my Swarm, Tree Rex and L-Bouncer do. Here's a pic of him:
