Pokemon is to "gotta catch them all!" as Skylanders is to "gotta collect them all!" smilie so what do you think? smilie

hehe what i mean is they for sure look into Pokemon and other different game names just to come up with something pleasing to consumers smilie Pokemon is very popular so for sure they looked into it. smilie

I personally like Pokemon because

1. Been playing since 6 years old
2. WAY CHEAPER
3. More fun imo

^ I like them equally when it comes to the "collecting" aspect, but I do prefer the actual gameplay of Pokemon over Skylanders.

I began playing the Pokemon games within the year they came out. The first Pokemon games came out in the US in the year of 1998 (so I was also around 6 years old when I started, like you, that's kind of neat smilie).

I never thought about this but, I've been playing Pokemon close to 15 years O.o, and surprisingly, I've never lost my interest in the series and I'm sure that I never will.

I'm hoping that Skylanders will grow on me as much as Pokemon has gameplay-wise, but I feel like Skylanders needs more to it.
