It isn't really old news if it was just announced today.
Other news that might not be as widespread, however, is the ability of all Skylanders to jump in this game.

im very happy about this..but honestly..id be amazed if they ever release a skylanders game that doesnt support old skylanders...as they constantly release different posed old characters..if they do release a game that doesnt support them..theyll alienate their entire audience.

i dont ever intend to stop playing skylanders..but if they made it so old skylanders (even original skylanders only) wouldnt be compatible..thats where id draw the line and quit.
