Has it been mentioned anywhere if the new Portal will work with the older games?
I only have the SSA PS3 portal, so upgrading to a wired portal would be pretty awesome.

Not yet, no. I would assume that it's backwards compatible since the only reason that the old portals aren't forwards compatible is because of the swapping the parts stuff.

To be honest, I'm kind of skeptical about the new portal. It looks both cool and weird at the same time, at least in my eyes.
