This is the only complain I have about SSF, why is the Wii version produced by another company?
Because that means different story and different gameplay ;(

Swap Force is just plain awesome!
I'm not related to the SkylanderKids.

They do that because they can port from 360 to the PS3 and vice versa. That's why some games weren't even considered for the Wii.

My signature is like this because no matter what I put in it apparently it always violates website policy. Hopefully this is ok............................

I think Beenox made only a graphic down port from the HD Versions. :3

It doesn't mean a different story, it just means that a different developer are handling the port whilst VV are focusing on the main release.

Yeah, it doesn't mean different story/game play at all.

The Wii U version of Giants was handled by a different company than the Wii/360/PS3 versions.

Vicarious Visions did the WiiU port of Giants. It was the exact same game. They're just taking the development lead this time around.

Skylanders SA and Skylanders Giants were natively developed on the Wii and then ported on to the other consoles. Due to this, the game was extremely lacking in terms of graphics, and on the higher consoles it was easy to establish that it was just a Wii port. Most likely this time around, Swap Force is being developed for the more graphically powered consoles first. And then handing the task to Beenox to get it to somehow work out on the Wii.

Developers are still making PS2 games, if you can believe that. Not so much these days, but stuff has definitely come out.

Frankly, now that the Wii U is out, the Wii version SHOULD be done by a different company and SHOULD be different. It's processing power and storage capacity lagged way behind the 360 and PS3 during its lifespan and I'm convinced that it limited the first 2 Skylanders games in terms of graphics and, more importantly, content because Toys for Bob needed to fit the game onto a DVD-ROM instead of Blu-ray/HD technology so the Wii version could be the same as the 360 and PS3 versions. I'm hoping this won't be a problem this time, since the Wii U Optical Disk has comparable storage capacity to Blu-ray... <.<;

I wonder how they are going to jump on the Wii. The C button? Shake the remote?
