This is my opinion but it looks to me like the swAp landers could possibly be lightcore. In every one, there has been a part that could light up. Like Magna Charge's wheel or eye and Night Shift's cloud like tail

I don't know, nothing on Wash Buckler appears as if it would light up.

Yeah that's series 2 bro, series 2 pose and orange base.

I think that the bottom of the packaging will be blue, being base color after all.

I was thinking that, too. First game had a blue background on images like the Starter Packs and posters, and Giants was orange. I think packaging will be that lime greenish look they showed the logo on during their presentation.

Jumping won't make the game harder for kids
There will be difficulty levels
The campaign will be the same length as Giants
Story takes place after Giants
Toys for Bob worked very closely with Vicarious Visions on the game

2 Hours ?, I thought it'll take longer than that to finish the whole game, what skylanders did you use ?, also read the link, that's the current plan, not the actual game itself, in the end, it might be longer or shorter, IDK, until the game really comes out/further notice

it takes my wife & I about 1 hour to fully explore each chapter the first time, swapping slylanders to whatever element is strong in each area.

It takes my 12 year old nephew even longer. And he only gets to play a couple of hours a week.

This game isn't designed for you hard core gamers. Go play CoD or Gears of War if you want something that takes weeks to finish.

I'm so pumped that Adventure Packs are back! Six or more would be even better!

When are they goin to release the new hub world. ya know cause I was thinking it would be as big as the first game (pause) but yall would be able to customize it and stuff like in giants

Yea there's a lot of content in giants to keep ya going. If you just run straight thru I still don't think you could finish it in 2 hours. Definetly about play style. I take my time to get everything in a level. I replay each a couple times over the lifetime of the game. Replay again with my sis when she comes over. Battle arena. Pvp. Yea there's plenty to keep me busy til November. Plus I have a life, work and play other games.

While I know a lot of people are really focused on the gameplay and other aspects for the core of the game, this was the statement that really got me excited in the new article....

Some of you may have noticed that none of the Skylanders talked during the gameplay footage or trailer. I have confirmed that Skylanders will be talking in Skylanders Swap Force.

...The game already has a strong list of notable voice actors. With the addition of 32 new characters (16 Swap and 16 new Skylanders) plus any other plot based characters, I'm really curious to see who else from the voice acting world might find their way into studio for voice overs.

I'm going to cross my fingers to see Jennifer Hale, Grey DeLisle, D.C. Douglas, and Brandon Keener added to the voices in the game. And if you dont recognize any of those names.... shame on you.

2 hours? Are you serious? 2 hours to speed run it maybe - try playing it properly, exploring all the extra areas, gathering collectables ETC. You can rush through pretty much any game in 2 hours. Giants took as long to complete normally as most games that I played throughout 2012, but I could have completed each of them in 2 hours if I tried - but that's not what you're meant to do at all.

I'm just someone who speedruns stuff and 100%'s it later. its easy with drill sergeant.

I just hope Lucy Lawless does it too. After Kevin Sorbo (Hercules) and John Kassir (The Crypt Keeper) both voicing characters it just made me want Lucy's voice in it. Shame she wasn't Ninjini, that would have been FLAWLESS.

I'd like a bad guy voiced by Crispin Freeman.

Is it just me or do the figures this time around look cheap? The plastic is shiny and the paint jobs are lacking detailing. The game is still in development, so there's a lot of time for figure improvement and they probably look better in-person than in flat photographs.

Toy Fair's going on this week (10th - 13th), we can expect some more videos and footage.

I'm hoping they get Tomyo Ohtani (dont know how to spell) or Jun Senoue for the music, but doubt that will happen. As for voice actors, I'd prefer less, like SSA, with only a few talking.
Btw, I'm betting Cali will return maybe in the end and get jealous of Tessa.
Again, btw, isn't it supposed to be a "story-driven" game? Maybe there will be more gameplay time.

It's what I've been hoping for since she premiered but realistically they wouldn't dare do that.

I don't really think they're a couple YET.

Tessa just seems as much of a nuisance as someone like Clamtron was in SSA....to me anyway, she just seems like an idea used because they had nothing to use or they didn't want to include Hugo (Again!) or Cali (eh...)...(wait. Forget that, I they have HC, then Cali may be in.....OR Tessa cold have replaced her!! )

I hope she is bad. I like Cali a lot more!

Cali knew how to use Explosives! literal BOOMs! And she has the Luck-O-Tron, who knows what dark and powerful artifacts she may have hidden.
