Do we have any confirmation that these 2 are the only new figures being released? Nothing else is being released at TRU other than TB and EB correct?

Just got back a bit ago. The roads were terrible in the Columbus, OH area, so it almost made me wonder if it was worth it...
I am sure the kids will think so though.
I can confirm that the TRU only got EB and TB. They had about a dozen or so of each, and had them behind the counter so they could limit them to 2 of each fig per person. At least they do THAT right.
No word from the employees on when they might get LC Chill.
Also, they did indeed block the use of Rewards Certificates for Skylander figs. They are now considered "video game accessories". (Which I think is BS, cause my kids play with them more as actual toys than they play the game itself!)

Just got back myself with a pair. Only 11 of each and there were more than 11 people there

my TRU was cleaned out within 5 minutes of opening. 30 people in line and only about 12 of each figure.

This is totally true. I just got home with my Thumpback and Eyebawl. I also was able to get the regular crusher I have been missing. My store in Topeka, KS which is a D level store, i.e. very small only had two Thumpback, one Eyebrawl left when I got there 30 mins after opening.

Went to TRU this morning a few minutes before opening. I was the 12th person in line. Only had 4 of each figures so I didn't get any there. Decided to hop to GS a few minutes drive from there (even though it was a long shot in my mind since I haven't seen or heard of any in my area - MD just outside of DC) and to my surprise, I was able to pick up 2 sets of each and 2 bonus sidekicks. I didn't get a count of what's left as some figs were off to the side but there might have been 2 EB's left.

Got to my local TRU and had 2 people ahead of me. Hoping to pick up 2 more of each for my nephew and coworkers son.

My TRU only got 2 of each in from what they said. There was a line of disappointed mad people.

Wife got to TRu 5 min before opening. Line like balck friday as she said. They were allowing 2 per a person of each so she got 22 eyebrawls and 2 thumps. She got online to pay, manager was telling ppl on the line now its one per a person cause they are running low. She payed and put them in trunk and came in to do some returns we had, by time she got in ppl were leaving cause they were out of stock. She said she was in the store all of 20min.

She ran to another TRU in a mall, got another eyebrawl and thump. Still need one more eyebrawl for my brother.

Heard from a couple of managers at TRU and said lots of 'mad' people .. Problem when TRU does this and 'advertise' it then never have enough supply for demand IMO.. If you are going to advertise a special , have plenty.. Keep customers happy and brings people back IMO..

When TRU opened they said it would be one set per person and so I was able to snag another Thumpback and EyeBrawl for my nephew's bday next month. As I was looking through the other figures a mother and her son who was probably about 5 came up next to me and started looking at the figures. She says to him that the one he wanted was all sold out so let's see if there are any other ones you might like. With a sad voice he says, "Ok, mommy".

So I turn to them and ask which one he was looking for. He says "Eyeball". I hold up the Eye-Brawl figure and ask him "This one?" He nods and I hand it to him and say, "Here ya go, buddy." His eyes lit up and he looks up at his mom because he doesn't know what to do. His mom asks me if I'm serious because he's been looking forward to Eye-Brawl for a long time. I tell her yes and he takes it, says thank you and hugs it. I ask his mom if he wants Thumpback too and she said he only wanted Eye-Brawl. I tell them that they should probably get this one too because it'll be pretty hard to find for a while so I hand over Thumpback as well.

I'm just glad to see them go to a kid who will actually enjoy them instead of a scalper. My nephew's bday isn't until late Feb so I have plenty of time to try to track another set down. If worse comes to worse, I have the set I was keeping sealed that I can always give to him.

That's a really nice thing to do! You're a great person.

That's such a heart warming story! That was really nice of you to do. Now if it was me, I'd buy them for myself lol
