A small relief is that most of the responses to that meme straight out of 2011 were "eh it's fine Academy looked cute, we've got reignited now". As I said on the discord, one good thing 2020 did is make some people spend less time Talking About Why They Hate Thing.

I voted for the Glow Squid because it’s honestly the best-looking out of the mobs. The Moobloom looks like a butter cow sculpture with flowers on top, and the Icologer is interesting, but a bit plain. (and I don’t like having more things to fight)

I can agree with that. Yeah, the Iceologer would be the more exciting choice, but the Glow Squid makes the game feel more vibrant and alive.
I just hope Mojang sticks with what they said and adds the other two eventually...
