In TEN, Ignitus sends Terrador to the Shattered Vale to warn the inhabitants of the darkness spreading on the Mountain of Malefor.
I wonder if Spyro and Cynder will venture there.

A vale is a wide river valley, so I presume the Shattered Vale would be the area next to the dam.

The thing is, what kind of residents actually live there? Terrador was sent there to warn the inhabitants of the Night of Eternal Darkness, so if we go there then we might as well see what all the fuss was all about smilie

Maybe. Doesn't sound like a friendly place, which is good.
I think it might be near the Mountain of Malefor (or what's left of it), because of what Ignitus said; 'Make haste to the Shattered Vale and warn the inhabitants of that region that the darkness is spreading in Malefor.'
That makes me think that the Shattered Vale is somewhat close to the mountain, and a danger.
