everyone says this game is sooo terrible, and i am thinking about buying it. if i love Spyro and all of the other spyro games will i like this, or is it a waste?

I've never played it before, I did put it on my Christmas list for Santa to bring, but he didn't...

Anyways, PrincessPeachie LOVES this game because of the backgrounds and the music. She usually doesn't care much or talk much about the glitches, so she might say go buy it.

Haha you're right TSR. (*whispers* How did she know?? ) But I do think you should find the game for a little less, because the glitches, slow loading and general dialogue of this game is around 90% going to P you off.

But yeah, IMO the worlds are beautiful and the most atmospheric of all Spyro games, the music is awesome if you've got the taste... and if you learn that the game can be enjoyable despite the problems, then you've recognised there's still some of that good Spyro beauty left.

This was the last of the Spyro games to stay in it's 'original form' (even though, I'm not sure if it was made by Insomniac??), although the portals are missing, and the multiple homeworlds. After this game (not including GBA ones), Spyro became somewhat of a cliche and lost it's originality and feeling. Yet, they're still all awesome games in their own way.

Including this oh-so glitchy one.

thanks guys! i love spyros worlds, and if this one has the best worlds im in luck! yeah, ill get it on ebay if i do. it is spyro afterall, im sure i can get past the glitches. P.S. will the spyro franchise produce games for wii, or only PS3?

but then u have to buy a PS3 for spyro and buy a wii for mario. so its best if they botth sell for wii so you dont have to buy both consoles

dont no about dollars coz im an english gall but id say its worth about £20

i got it for 14$ from eb games...

I got it for £7 in a car boot sale. Its a nice game but I kept getting lost/stuck. It also freezes sometimes, and its rather glitchy. Its good, but dont pay that much for it, only buy it if its cheap.

even though it might be glitchy, the graphics and music are great i got it in a brand new video game shop in our town. it was £10. ok it was pre- played but it still works fine.

The game maybe a bit bad but it is platinum so it will still be worth a bit.

Well it's a weird thing for me. Usually if something isn't that worth it to begin with it's usually best to go for it when it's less than even £10. >.>

Still, I had a PS2 copy and my experiences with it were a little rough. Some of the humorous glitches (a turning monkey head in Monkey Monastry, some of the swimming glitches and stuff) and loading times didn't seem to bother me but the game-stopping ones (stretched polygons and crap and even game freezings) did. I ended up opting for the GameCube version last night for less than £10, being sold as a used copy from Amazon, but what I have concern with is if there's anything there that actually makes some aspects of it worse than its PS2 incarnation. Someone needs to do a thread with comparisons on the two versions.
