Drill Sergeant.
He may take a bit of strategy to use, but he is much better than Stumpy, who is just another slow melee.
With Drill Sergeant, I would choose the Megadozer path, and make sure to use ALL three of his attacks, and to not just spam one.

Stump Smash. He's more fun.

He has rocket drills and lasers.

Stumpy is fun to play as. Really.

I'd say Stump Smash. Drill Sergeant isn't that fun to play as. Stump Smash is a lot of fun when using his hammer combos.

Regardless Stump Smash is a monster with decent stats and moveset on any system

You have a rolling shield of Meganut destruction.... roll it into your enemy.... it blocks all attacks save lobs... if they destroy it hiccup another one.... roll it into them or knock it into them, detonate it, and then stomp them into the ground.... He is JesusRightSmash on my system. Despite his looks he has one of the fastest basic move speeds in the game and the highest HP.

We are going to tell you both. Just get both.

Love Stump Smash- he was a great surprise to play with for me. As for Drilly, I find him really unusable. I just don't care for him much at all.

I can't, I can only get one of them. I would get both if I could.

Stump Smash all the way. At least in the xbox version, drill sergeant cannot compete pvp either path. In the story mode he is fun with both paths, and pretty effective. However stump smash just destroys either path you take. He is not going to win any tournaments in pvp, but he will crush drill sergeant any day. Also he is just way more fun and effective either path in story mode. He is the biggest surprise for me as I wasn't too thrilled to get him. He either can smash everything or litter the entire map with seeds that slow everyone down. He is great! Drill Sergeant is a little disappointing. Ive gone both paths with both, go with stump smash.

I think I will go with Stump Smash.

You know what... Wait for Series Two Stump. Even if you don't want Giants he will work with the first game, he has a better figure, and (if you plan to get Giants) his Pow Wow appears to be rapid fire acorns and MORE ACORNS ON THE SCREEN AT ONCE which would be incredibly potent. Unless you really can't wait. The best part is almost every current rumor points towards him coming out in Wave One.

I actually think his repose looks stupid.

In-game, looks cool until you upgrade him. He looks ridiculous with Petrified Pummel & Thornbark (mostly Petrified Pummel). I don't know if he'll have a good Wow Pow and I might not be even able to get Giants (I'll try though).

Just got Stump Smash & Voodood today. Gonna try them out soon.

get them both. You need them all to get an achievement.

Agreed... I am not much of a fan of either character... If you HAD to pick one though, I'd maybe go with drill sarge :/

I got and I'll say he was more than worth the money (I also got :V: at a discount of 50% off), even though I had to go far away from my house to get him. He and are now both my favorite life guys, way better than stupid , such an overrated piece of crap.

I don't know about though, still looks pretty cool though.

I really like DS, although many don't. I just think he can be quite strong and cool.
