Wham-Shell is really fun and I'm glad I tracked him down, but I overall prefer playing as Slam-Bam. He's an awesome figure and a great character to play as, but his rarity makes him not really worth the effort when by now you've probably already beaten the game 20 times, and Slam-Basm has better combo attacks than Wham-Shell does. I'd overall say it's not worth it effort. I just happened to get super lucky that the day I decided to start searching for him, I called up an EBGames that had one.

If it weren't for Wham-Shell's rarity, I'd say he's totally worth it. But as it is right now, you'd be saving yourself a lot of trouble by just going with Slam-Bam. Wham-Shell is a more effective character at clearing out enemies, but he's less interesting to play as since you mainly only use one attack. Slam-Bam isn't as dull since you have to use all three buttons frequently, so it depends on your play style really. If you like something a little more in-depth, take Slam-Bam. If you want to just clear out a ton of enemies really easily, go with Wham-Shell. Though if you have one, you really don't need the other since both characters are great.

wham-shell is def the best water skylander as long as you go captain crustication.

Wham-Shell is extremely powerful down the Captain Crustacean path.

Commander Crab isn't worth your time. Like said before, spamming Captain Crustacean's Poseidon Strike is most effective.

By the way, am I the only one who thinks of Stimpy whenever I see Wham-Shell? I know they aren't SUPER similar like Dino-Rang and Vector the alligator from Sonic, but they're similar enough that I think about Stimpy every time I see Wham-Shell's official art.
