It couldn't have tooken you a year as skylanders was first released in october and now its september so your logic is wrong.

Time it took to beat Kaos: 5 hours worth of time (Over one week)
Time it took to get 100%: 8 hours worth of time (Over two and a half weeks)
Time it took to upgrade everyone: In progress, still need Drill Sergeant done- estimated time is 20 hours doing this
Time it took to finish Heroics: In progress (Ongoing since January)
Time it took to reach Level 50 on Universe: ..... JUST ONE MORE DAY MA (Ongoing since available)

i got 2 files to 100% percent it took one file like 5 months and one like 1 week!
