Will lightcore remake skylanders such as Cynder, Prism break, Eruptor, and Zook from giants work in spyro's adventure?

Series Two Non-LightCore: Yes.
Series Two LightCore: Unconfirmed. It may be blocked by the new coding that they unleash after being placed on, or they may just be the same but light up. There's no evidence either way. |

Those figures arent getting LightCore variants, but ALL reposes and Lightcores (except new characters) will work with the original games..

Just didn't know. People have been asking if the new characters would work in spyro's adventure but not the old reposes and lightcores. In the starter kit they are releasing a repose cynder along with tree rex and jet vac. The 3ds version has pop fizz instead of jet vac. I am assuming they will be making individual packages for those two as well.

I thought the Lightcore Skylanders wouldn't work in Spyro's Adventure because they will appear different in Giants than normal figures.

LOL- jumped to third thread
http://thecontrolleronline.com...tails-revealed/ so much ambiguity..it says Giants (obviously) and LightCore won't work with SSA...but do they mean ALL lightcore or just the new SkylandesLC as opposed to remodel LC-the article mentions nothing of the new skylanders working (of course they won't) at this point. Other articles contradict this..as in the link I posted in the other...so I guess this is all a fat juicy whatever atmo. can people please post sources

What I meant was remodled ones such as eruptor, cynder, triggs, drobot, etc.

I heard someone on an interview that talked about the lightcores hint something about them working in SA. I believe he said that "Lightcore's light up magically when placed on the portal. IT even works on the old Portal.
I don't know if this means anything, or if the person wasn't fully informed or anything. I just thought this might help.

cool..that's logical that both portals would work as the Giants booster pack uses the old portal. The subtley different in-game model in Giants may not mean it will only work in Giants, it may mean the different details are missing when the RFID chip is read by the portal in SSA rather than Giants
This would be in the same way the levels11- 15 and wow pows are "ignored" in SSA. It all depends on that RFID chip having the details that would be recognised as Eruptor/Prism Break/ Hex etc in SSA

Here is the true answer: They will light up as toys, but not have the brighter effects in the game.

i think they meant it'll light up on the old portal, no more no less.
and since the lightcores are technically different characters in game (similar to how the legends are coded differently) they most likely wont work. dont worry, LCs such as prism break have both a series 2 AND a lightcore!

Legends have the same character model, just different colouring, and unlock the same characters heroic challenge...remodels are recognised as old character in SSA, so why not LightCore recognised in SSA as its original character..models for hex, etc are already in there...
I know the light cores remodels are different BUT so arethe standard remodels and they still work in SSA...

i meant different coding as in: different stats in the video game, different visually, and recognized as a different character, and when you put your cursor in front of the soul gem on the character map, it quickly flashes to a different character. im just using the logic that also goes for legendary slam bam and ignitor, how would they work? the legendaries werent in the original game. but im not saying its impossible for lightcores to be in the game, as they could put a seperate chip in the base for both games, and one bigger chip for the player information.

This isn't what I mean. I mean would old remakes such as cynder and prism break and that some are lightcores like prism break and eruptor, would they work in spyro's adventure?

Yes. Cynder and Zook will both work. Every remodel will work, just not LightCores.
Thing is about LightCores, they have different "names" tied to the coding. Remember when on Universe the Volcanic Vault was called the Burning Aqueduct? Yeah, it wouldn't register and we have the same problem here. Presumably, the Series Two remodels have the same "name" as their Series One counterparts... |

Their Series Two figures- non-LightCore- DEFINETLY will, but it's unlikely the LightCore editions will.

WOW you are slow, anyways, i wonder if you HAVE to collect all 87 (37+24+2+8+16 [and any other later released legends]) skylanders to get 100%

All I wanted to know was if prism break and eruptor series 2 work SSA. I thought you were talking about ONLY the new regular skylanders. I already know that they don't work, but everyone keeps asking that question so it's getting annoying that no one is asking this question.

Yeah, LC work in both games, when the store portals weren't updated with giants info yet, the LCs would register as the regular figures from SSA, since they use the same base programming. they light up too, but they are only called "LC ____" in SG.
