i was planning only to get some of the reposes but its to tempting i know and now i find myself getting lightcore and non lightcores too

I'm 36 years old. Not a real gamer, and never collected anything before. Between the lack of Skylanders on the shelves, the fact that they came out in waves, and the scalper prices... I got hooked in a big way. I paid extra for a Wham-Shell when he was released in Australia, but will only pay retail from now on. It is no longer about finding them for my son. Ieant them all! I have an addiction.

I feel if I'm buying the triple packs and battle packs I'll get most of them naturally anyway. Ill only have a few I need to buy after that.

I'm Getting:
All 8 Giants.
All 8 New Characters.
All 8 Lightcores.
Some Re Designs...

If I Bought A Re Design And A Lightcore Re Design of The Same Skylander I Would Be Wasting Money.

DON'T GIVE IN GUYS! If the reposes sell as well as the new character we can't win, because Acti will keep churning them out in the future! I guarantee that the POW WOW powers aren't worth it!

UGH! I agree.. Since the darn trap was set in the first place, I thought to myself, "Not happening!".

Too bad the GEDFCBP (Gamestop Exclusive DragonFire Cannon Battle Pack), and the other packs force you to get them, and when I see them in the store, I'm gonna have to buy them...

I have OCD! It sucks doesn't it. ;___;


On topic: I won't be getting any, I wasted 600 dollars on them! Out of my own money! Birthday+Channaukah+Christmas+Savings. My dad only payed about 50 of that.

If there is a Spyro one, I'll get that. I only have like 11 of the Skylanders, some of them I didn't even want but they came with a pack.

for the new arrivals so it can use their powers to ferment its secret plans. I am under its will and must get 37/37 of the originals (currently at 15/37) and then must get new 16 plus unwary recreations of the old Skylanders...

want all 8 lightcores, all 24 reposes, all 8 new Skylanders, all 8 giants, all 4 new legendaries, Punch Pop Fizz. Must get 53/53 on giants... must gain 75 new Skylanders to quench the thirst of my hungering portal...

---(in short, have terrible collector's OCD, will try to keep back but I find that very hard, if I could restrain myself I would only have 12/37 right now and would only have 38/90 when I completer my giants collection)---

well $3,699 is a whole lot of skylanders. just get the pen cintiq 24HD instead, and there ya go, frees up like 1000 dollars for skylanders. and unless you are shopping only on ebay for them. thats plenty to get all the retail priced stuff.

oh and as far as the OCD collector thing.. i think they could give you some medication... other than that... THERE IS NO HELP (i have it too..)

I hate myself, but I will have to get them too. HOWEVER: I WILL sell my first set, but maybe after I buy the second set. There is no use having to of the same skylander.

I decided to drop this and get an even better Cintiq 12WX and White 2. Thinking about it more I honestly don't think I'm going to get any reposes at this point, unless I'm forced to, or I get very lucky for Christmas and get ALL of that... I might try to sell my original set, but that is the limit.

I can deal without getting the reposes. The lightcores, on the other hand...?

Haha, that's why I considered it in the first place... Because I was 99% sure on getting LightCores. But regular Shroom comes with Battle Pack, so it would be a waste doubling up on his LightCore- why buy the others for an incomplete set afterwards? Maybe if Acti had included his LightCore version, I would get the LightCore Series, but as it is the only one I'm likely to get is Pop Fizz to go with his Punch Edition. Unless they get something worth it on 3DS.

i know dat feel bro. but i somehow controlled myself to not get the reposes, but im still getting both LC and Repose, ugh 3 prsim breaks.

When I first heard about the game I only planed on getting the reposes of my favorote characters, but now I'm getting them all! Except for Hot Head and both eruptors. This is because I never really liked eruptor and Hot Head just looks like a big eruptor to me. (Except knowing me I'll be getting them anyways) Me and my brother were also planing on sharing our figures too, but I think I'm going to just buy my own set now.

The good news for me is that Christmas (and possibly more new skylanders coming to stores) is only two months after the game comes out. What I plan to do is get the figures I REALLY want and then ask for a bunch for Christmas.
