My favourite Skylander is Zap then Camo.

My favorite is Bash.

I've given my opinion of Best, most Powerful, so I guess favorite for each element is in order.

Magic: I like Voodood. I suppose the fact he gets passed over a lot adds to the appeal, but honestly, the Zipline and tripwires do present one of the most unique gameplay options. I think the "plain" look thing really just surmounts to that other IP have produced similar things, but why does Warnado, Hex, and Flameslinger not get similar treatments? Very few have a truly "original" look.

Earth: Man this one is always the toughest. There is not a single one I don't like. I like them all a lot. I played a game that allowed to create my own super human and I designed a sharkman with a tiger shark pattern colored yellow and brown. He had a skill called burrowing that let him travel very fast underground with a tough and nail fighting style. His name was "Sand Shark". Playing Terrafin is the skylander equivalent. When you have a chance to play something in a game that you have previosly envisioned, it has unmatchable appeal.

Water: This one is almost as tough as earth. Gill Grunt was one of the biggest reasons I decided to get this game. I love flamethrower type weapons and they chose to do a spin-off of one using water, which of course is really only passable in a kids game. I specialized in this water blaster my first time through the game, and have been nothing but pleased.

Fire: I decided for my first run through the game I was only gonna use 3 skylanders since the game appeared to be playable with only three guys (since they only gave you three with the game). Along with Terrafin and Gill Grunt, I used Ignitor. While phenominally clunky and fragile compared to the other melee fighter I was using, he was my guy with the vertical attack so I naturally beefed up the flame mortar attack. Imagine playin through the game with a Sand Hog Terrafin, Water Weaver Gill Grunt, and a Soul of the Flame Ignitor for the first. It took me a while to respect any other skylander.

Tech: There is only one guy who can do drive-by shootings and that is Drill Sergeant. As with Voodood, the mostly unique gameplay he presents when compared to the rest gives him the edge as my favorite.

Undead: Ghost Roaster is not only my favorite undead, but my favorite dasher. He might not be considered the best, but he has that feel that even the toughest of foes would shiver a little bit with this guy doing his thing.

Wind: I find it.....odd the choice I'm landing on here. Definitely not the "coolest" one for me, but the one that happens to be the most fun is Whirlwind. Hang on.....yep....my manhood looks like it's still there. Tempest Dragon gets the job done is a nice change of pace from the rest. I still need time to get over the Pokemon look of Warnado. As soon as I do, he'll trump Whirlwind.

Life: Another difficult decision, but the Zookster takes it. His looks alone could land him on the list, but his play doesn't hurt. Just a cool, fun, effective skylander.

Skylanders of note: All the Earth Skylanders (Crusher will be my main Giant) Wham-shell, Camo, Stump Smash

i like double trouble, zook, bash, terrafin, wham-shell and warnado
but i only have bash out of these skylanders

My favorites are Hex/Zook (they are practically identical in gameplay) and (Legendary) Trigger Happy..

I'm not really a fan of the melee toons..

My two favourites are Zook and Wham-Shell. I like wham-shell because he's flippin' awesome and super cool, and Zook because he has a great figure, is useful in-game, and looks like a muppet.

For me, I would have to say Either Sunburn or Zap
