i was interested and loved the idea about a card game played thiz way... but... they never sold any cards but evilbay, so never got to try it. if the makers would have supported the game instead of dropping it after a couple of months, moar people could have played it... i have also later read it had great multiplayer, that is now closed.

unfortunately yes the multiplayer has now closed, but the game did go on for 3 years from release, here in the uk we had the cards sold at most game stores, me and the missus got into it big time, spent about £400 roughly about $600 on the cards but once they released the third set of cards and the third upgrade to the game we thought, now is probably the time to stop buying,
the reason i said about the similarities is because of the different elements and how they have power over the other elements, theoretically the same as SSA the elements were as follows EYE OF JUDGMENT SKYLANDERS FIRE FIRE WATER WATER WOOD LIFE BIOLITH TECH MAGIC MAGIC UNDEAD UNDEAD WIND AIR there were some other elemantal abilites but in essecnce the 8 main elements were there as we have played our beloved skylanders quite litterally to death across all the formats completing to 100% on all of them we thought lets give EOJ a try again, and to be honest it is quite sucessfully filling the void until giants, we are on our second set of figures now, having kept the first set and all our variants sealed and theyve now been put into boxes for the old retirement fund in the future, all we need now is the adventure pack figures and weve got them all again, i work at TRU and am just gonna wait for the inevitable clearance sale that will more than likely happen close to the release of GIANTS if not sooner before we buy them because i cannot warrant spending £80/$130 on them as we already have them and only want the figures i am just glad that now someone has released a usb battery pack for the ps3/wii portal so we can play some 2 player action again without changing the batteries every 5 seconds

I Loved Eye of Judgement, but I didn't spend any money on it, I just printed out all the cards from the internet. It was cool how the hollowgrams you could interact with your own finger, like poke at the dragon and piss him off so he tried to take a bite out of you. That tech was better than skylanders, too bad it was only a card game, I wish you could do more with it. The hardest part was getting enough light overhead so the camera could see the whole board.

that was and is still a really annoying problem with it, if its not daylight, its pointless trying to play it
